Before we began Pastor Gumbo warned that there is a very big "miracle worker"  crusade in town and also that 3 pastors have been going around town warning people not to attend Moses conference.

After the first day all the pastors were so happy.  They told Pastor Gumbo "Moses has changed!  He is not against us anymore.  In fact what he
is saying is so good we are going to bring better sound equipment." Moses has not changed - but the change is in their hearts.  So when you prayed for preparation of hearts to hear the message that prayer has been dramatically answered.

The 5th day of Moses conference books were distributed to all.  After lunch we added a special extra session about healing and miracles. There is a big miracle worker in town so the question came up - what are we to think about this? Moses went verse by verse showing the purpose of Miracles.  Moses in the O.T. - to identify him to the Jews.  Jesus to show that He was the Messiah - and the Apostles - badges of authenticity.  No more apostles - no more miracles (short version) God is still in the miracle business - but he does not use agents.

Moses also pointed out the idols so prevalent in Africa...Money, Anointing Oil and elevating the Blood of Christ above Christ Himself. He kept exposing church traditions that have no basis in the Bible.  He encouraged them to take the teachings and research them in the Bible to see if they are true.  To do this with Moses and any other teacher who comes to town.  Dissect the message and throw away anything that does not line up with the Scripture. There were pastors from Hwange (pictured), Harare, Bulawayo, Norton and Shanghani there.  Some out of town pastors wanted to stay to hear Moses speak at Pastor Gumbo's church on Sunday. That is being positive to the word!

It is obvious that God sent us here and that He is totally gracious to the people of Zimbabwe and sending them the truth they need to turn this nation around.  It is our prayer that the truth left with these pastors will spark and the flame will spread through Zimbabwe and beyond.  Revival is the only answer.
