Making God’s Word your highest priority is the secret to your success in life.
God revealed this truth when He called on Joshua to lead the Jews. “Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do” (Josh. 1:8 NLT emphases added).
David used imagery to capture the truth, “[anyone] whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night…that person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither — whatever they do prospers” (Psa. 1:2-3).
You cannot prosper in whatever you do until you center your activities around God’s Word.
As you diligently study and practice His Word, it will transform you into an authentic Christian —a reflection of Jesus Christ. “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you” (John 13:15).
Will You Make a Commitment?
