PROMISES

As for God. His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is flawless; He shields to all who take refuge in Him. (Ps.18:30)

 

“Do not be afraid! Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.” (Exodus 14:13a)

 

“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Deut. 31:6)

 

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deut. 31:8)

 

He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He.” (Deut. 32:4)

 

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. (Ps. 4:8)

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, for correcting and training in righteousness that the servant of God may be mature, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Tim. 3:16)

 

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died [as a substitute] for us. (Rom. 5:8)

 

But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God. For you have been called for this purpose, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps. (1 Pet. 2:20b-21)

 

“For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” (Jer. 29:11)
