John Brunner has had experience in the military and business. His service at G.E.M. stems from a lifelong passion for the Word and for missions. He believes that contributing time and resources to efforts that have eternal implications—the furthering of the Gospel of Jesus Christ—is the only sustainable path in changing lives forever. John lives with his wife Jan in St. Louis, Missouri.
Moses is President and Founder of Grace Evangelistic Ministries. In 1997, God interrupted his life long ambition of becoming a neurosurgeon and substituted it with His own plan of reaching the lost and destitute. Moses was saved on the crusade ground in his village in Nigeria and started preaching in churches, schools and trains when he was just 12 years old. Moses resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife Gloria and daughters Sophia and Havilah.
Debby met Moses in 1998, the day G.E.M. moved from his apartment into it’s first official office. This God ordained meeting led to a trip to Nigeria, which turned out to be the first of many. Debby and her husband Richard Hays enjoy assisting the ministry, editing, frequently traveling with Moses and assisting in whatever helps Moses and GEM. She and Richard live in Knoxville, Tennessee.
John Tyler has practiced civil litigation since 1978. He has been a professor of law and jurisprudence at Houston Christian University since 2012. John’s teaching goal is to produce young Christian attorneys dedicated to preserving and exemplifying Christian ideals in our culture and legal system. John lives with his wife Odile in Houston, Texas.
Stefan has been a Christian since his teens. He holds a Master of Divinity from Liberty University and was ordained in 2013. He has served as a chaplain in the United States Army Reserve and as an associate pastor of a Bible Church. He has traveled on gospel missions to countries including Cuba, India, and Ukraine. Stefan currently serves as an adult Sunday School teacher for his church and he resides in Dickson, TN with his wife and three children.
Weldon Schott is a pathologist in St. Louis. A graduate of Texas A&M and UNT health science center in Fort Worth. He then completed a residency in pathology at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso, Texas. Served an additional two years at Blanchfield Army Hospital attaining rank of major serving as medical examiner of the 101st Airborne. Currently Chief of pathology, St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis where he has practiced for the last 38 years.
Karen Stark’s career in sales and marketing culminated in owning a business with her husband in the field of financial transactions. She is passionate about the Word of God with a heart for all people to have an accurate understanding of this life changing truth. G.E.M. has always been her favorite mission group since first being introduced to their newsletters. Karen lives with her husband Ron in Portland, Oregon.
Lee and his wife Patty own L & P Plastics, based outside Pittsburgh P.A. where Lee was a deacon in his church for almost 30 years. He and Patty both have a long time love of missions which has motivated Lee to serve on the board of G.E.M. and Patty to travel with the ministry on several mission trips. Lee and Patty live just east of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
David L. Brown was Born in Gurdon, Arkansas and blessed to have been raised by a Christian father. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. His experience is in banking and finance since 1975. His financial advisor practice allows him to help others to handle their finances more wisely and plan for the future. David is currently serving at his church as a deacon and Sunday School Superintentent and teacher. He resides in Houston, Texas with his wife Deborah.
